Hello I'm new to the site and had a quick question. I'm lookin at getting a new truck and saw this 84 1 ton I'm interested in and my question is regarding the motor. The details of the engine are as follows- mark v 454 bored .040 over, full roller, 795 edelbrock carb, weiand aluminum high rise intake, msd ignition, mid range cam, massive head work, polished steel crank with chamfered oil holes, high vol oil pump, headers ect. The motor was apperantly built by a GM shop in Washington State and has only about 8000 miles. I will be using the truck for pulling a bit, some daily driving, but mostly just toying around and wouldn't mind the power. Just wondering what you all think of this engine build and if it seems to be a good combination for a good running big block. Thanks for the input.
