Up front I used 3 inch drop spindles $314 and 1.6 inch drop coils $157. For at total or 4.6 inches in the front. In the rear I used a 2 inch drop shackle and 2 inch drop hanger kit $187. Those prices included shipping and Taxes. www.canuckmotorsports.com/Good Company to deal with

Hey super nice truck. I can't wait till I can take all the molding off my truck and shave the drip rails finishs it off for the custom look. I am dropping the rear a couple more inchs and then starting on the interior. With buckets and a custom dash+console combo. Little by little.

Both are good looking trucks, I still want mine lowered like the long bed. Not real low but lower than it is. When you used he lowering shackles did it interfer with the bed, I noticed on my truck there is a support runner under the bed that is right above the shackle so I don't see how a longer one will fit in there without modifications. But mine also rides like a logging truck. I done removed 2 springs from the rear pack and thinking of removing 1 or 2 more to soften it up.

yes you will have to notch out that support above the shackle. Normanlly a shackle is ajustable from 1-2 inches. I have even heared of 3 inch shackle. If you like my height in the rear start with a flip kit, It's way cheaper than a shackle+hanger kit. and u can use shackles to lower further. If you use a 5 inch flip kit you dont have to notch,(some will say you do) Cause if your going low your not going to fly over big pot holes. Now I have a s+h kit that is of no use to me. I was not happy with the height. So I replaced it with a flip kit. Good luck with that.

Thanks for the info. I been thinking of using a flip kit but thought it would be lower than I wanted, but if thats what your truck has then that is perfect.

Ya one more think. i was explaining earlier that I used a shackle and hanger kit. I took that off and installed a 5 inch flip kit. NO c-notch required. It cost $98.00 canadian. and came with shock extenders. I was not in a hurry to start cuttung the frame. I thought this was my best option. One more thing(or expense) if you have original U bolts on your leaf springs, BUY new. Cost me $50.00 and a bent racket, trust me its not worth the hassle, just cut those b!tchs off.

Ok guys maybe some of you are going to think I'm crazy cause my wife is pretty sure I am. I am starting to think spring already and I need to get the truck ready for the road BUT I need it a little bit lower in the front. To do this I want to use a 3 inch drop spring instead of the 1.6 inch drop spring. Does anyone see any problems that I may run into. I put belltech drop shocks on it and I hope that they will still work. I can't find a shock that is rated for a 6 inch drop in the front. Anyone with advice on the matter would great cause normally people just bag them when they want to go as low as this......Not me. I when into this blind but kept going and going. I don't think something like this is very common cause I cant find hardly any info and it really differs from truck to truck/body style Thanks again>>Mat
