This is my 86 GMC, about a month ago before I sent it out to be painted. Yeah I know just about everyone else around here has done their trucks all by themselves, but I'm just not a body-work man. I find body work extremely boring and I can't do it for more then about 10 min. Anyway, I've replaced all the inner and outer fenders with brand new ones (shown in the picture below) I changed the bed, because it had a stepside on, which looked awesome, but was totally rotted out. I also did a total frame clean-up by lifting the cab and removing the bed, and after cleaning it, I coated it with about a 1/4" of rubber undercoating. I totally re-did my interior seat cover, steering wheel (little 8inch) 4 new speakers and a pioneer CD player mounted in my fiberglass forward headliner. I changed the dash, the cieling and tons of other crap, I ended up throwing a brand new 357 in it, and oh boy is it nice. I changed to a dual exhaust, because my stock one fell off, or rather got ripped off driving down the highway. I've also changed the front grill and almost all of the emblems over to Chevy emblems, just because I think they look better, and there's an abundance of them. It has power window and locks, but I didn't hook up the locks because they're 20 years old and I don't trust them. In the picture it's just sprayed a flat black primer, and has 8inches of lift (6 inch suspension, and 2 inch body) I had to junk the body lift though, because they would not inspect it, and I also think that body lifts are ugly, because you can see right through to the other side of the truck. So it now has a 6inch suspension, Shown in the picture are 33's, but I now have 35's to be put on it when I get it back which should be anytime now. I'll make shure to update when I get it back and it's completed.
