I know this is not the site or place to put this, but I need a little info. On the 1998 silverado, with electric windows, what kind of regulators do they use, cable drive or crank style? Thanks for any info. Sorry, I don't remember and I don't have the truck here yet, to find out. It is a member of our church that needs to have interior door handles hooked back up and have driver's door glass put back on track. Larry

Talked to guy with window problems. He said glass finally fell all the way down, so he took door apart and the track that is glued to the bottom of the glass, rusted away and he has to get new glass because that is the only way he can get it, costs $ 95.00 new. Next, he found out why he couldn't open doors from inside the truck, both inside release handles were broken, he sais they were made of pot metal and where the pins go through, the (tabs ) had broken off..cost----$ 35.00 each side. Thanks for answers
