I have a 1984 1/2 ton short bed. Its black. Dual flowmaster exhaust. Power everything and a/c. I got the truck In august '04. It has a 1974 Olds 455 with a turbo 400 transmission. It ran strong and hard. But the second day I had it. After replacing the air filter and cleaning out the carb with spray cleaner. The choke screw fell off the linkage and fell down into the engine. So no more 455. Recently I got a caprice classic wiht a 305 and a 700R4. and am swapping the engine and transmission to get the truck back on the road. It has 15" cragar wheels with some nice tires. The truck originally came with a 6cyl. so it has the stock springs in the front and 2" lowered hangers in teh back. I guess tahts about it for now.

I have a 91 caprice myself, maybe I should put the engine from that into my truck. Thanks for the idea.
