i have a 77 sierra: I've heard my buzzer for about half a second once or twice since i've had the truck. Is the buzzer built into the ingition key cylinder on these trucks or is it somewhere else? Any suggestions on what to look for to make it work again?

I have a 1978 C-10 Silverado and the buzzer is only for the seat belt on mine, and there is a wire that plugs into a switch that is mounted inside the seat belt assembly on the drivers side that turns off the buzzer once you pull the seat belt about a foot out. I'm not sure if yours is the same since i have shoulder belts and i dont think that the 77 did but it's a place to look. The wire runs under the aluminum panel along the end of the carpet and up to the retractor assembly.
