is there any way to adjust when the overdrive kicks in itll kick in at 55, but it stays at 55 if i try goin alittle faster in overdrive, itll go till about 60 then shift back into 3rd gear. i dont know

I seem to have that problem too, why is that? Is it because the factory 175hp is simply not enough to move a c10 that fast? It has trouble maintaining 75mph if theres a hill, unloaded. I adjusted the kickdown cable that seemed to help some. Now it only down shifts if you floor it. Since I have a swtich on the dash for the OD I can simply use that if I require a downshift faster.
