Hi All; I ran across this site doing searches. I recently picked up a 78 1/2 ton SWB 4WD that's been in the family since new. It's eat up, cancer surgery is underway. It's new career will be stump-jumping, getting the kids and me into the fishing and hunting spots most others never see. I'm 39, with a lovely wife and four great kids. I live near Raleigh, NC. I will start a thread in the "Your Truck" forum later to share the history and future of the stump jumper, but here's a pic: (we were on our way to the fireworks Wednesday evening) And there are more here: sourcerer.smugmug.com/gallery/3085852Bowtieguy, thanks for the forum.

Where at near Raliegh? I am in Hickory so not too far away. Just curious, gotta love the truck thats been in the fammily for a long time. Keep us posted would love to see more about it, just like everyone elses. I think seeing work done to others trucks gives the rest motivation to work on our own, I know it does for me. Only thing that holds me up is money. I hate wanting more than I can afjunky a$$ f@#d. I know story of everyones lives right? lol

Hi Bowtieguy I live near Moncure. I've been working out your way a bunch lately, Statesville, Mooresville, Lincolnton, etc. I'm an electrician, but I specialize in FAA obstruction lighting (broadcast towers, water tanks, etc.) I got the body panels finished today. Here are some pics: The Stump Jumper is gonna be camo when it's done, so the imperfections in my body work don't bother me at all. It's hard to notice under ultra-flat paint. I'm going to get the bed off and start spraying the exterior when I find some time.
