I have a 1887 r10 with a 700r4 my problem is that it will not go into 2nd gear. if i flat foot it it will slip into neutral but if i just let off the gas pedal a little it will just go from 1st to 3rd. can someone tell me if this means that the trany is bad or if there may be something i can check do to get second back. any help would be great!

It sounds like you have a bad 1-2 accumulator piston and/or seal. These pistons are plastic on some models, and I've seen them break, or become porous.
Secondly, the seal on this servo piston spilts over time.
This is an internal issue, but this servo is easily accessible by dropping the pan.
