OK you would like the up grade of a lighter EDELBROCK PERFORMER INTAKE. But it's up to you, and what your want out of the truck and motor. Now back to your gas problem first I really like EDELBROCK intakes and a lot of there stuff But do not like the carbs at all!. A 4BBL stock or 4BBL Holley carb I prefer them. I need to know you got gas to the line at the carb & the bowl or just the line. If you have not enough fuel in the bowl it may not get gas to the cylinder. if this was a new cab it should be at a close proper level but it may not if it was used. So I would check the bowl to see if the fuel is at the right hight. Other thing fuel pump not not putting out a proper PSI.
