I need to do a head job and at the same time I'm going to install a new Edelbrock intake and carb. (on an 85 K2500 w/ 350) My question is can I remove all the emissions stuff and vacuum lines? for a nice clean engine compartment and ease of working on it. Truth is I really don't want to deal with all that crap I will get the appropriate carb and intake. also new ex manifolds w/o the air ports. What else would i need to do if it's possible.

I do not know if you see this in this section on Pg 3 this should help a bit. Then what ever not there, some can drop in shoot some answers. Do you have to do any E-Testing where you live. If so then you better find out what law say where you live. If there pretty low on the list of laws there then you should be OK but some time you may have to put them back on. Here a Link to that page . bowtieguy.proboards33.com/index.cgi?board=Horsepower&action=display&thread=1169112497Oh do not for get to keep the brake boster hose for power brakes make be a new one and filter there too.

Thanks for that link! I didn't see that when i looked before. So there are some things I need to keep. The AIR system will defiantly go. I think I need to do some more in depth reading.
