i got me some second hand performance headers , cheap. they are rusty but arent they all? the paint doesn't stay very long because of the exstensive heat , i guess.or is there actually a paint strong enough? my question is: i started cleaning them and i see that were the tubes come together in one big tube there is somewhere a small crack in one of the tubes where they are welded together .is this serious? can it be fixed, can i test it if it is actually cracked?will this crack get bigger if i just let i be ? anyone?

You can have it welded. Then u won't have a leak there.

On my headers they had a pen size hole, which I didnt no what it was at first, it took three months to find it, and my lifters wernt ajusted right it sounded hurrable, but after I found the leak and I ajusted my lifter it sounded lot better
