I have a new setup for my fuel inlet, and it interferes with the air filter base. I know this is a dumb question and I could probably just look, but does anybody know if they make spacers to raise up the base of air filter housing?

Kool I see you have the Two year FireBird\ Camero pulley set up. I have one I puting in the Race car . I Know what your talking about are you useing a 14" drop base air cleaner. If you are on that style carb you need the swivel fitting, in stead of coming straght out it comes out swivel end the you can point down to change angle. witch lets you lower the fuel line a bit so the base does not hit it. I sure one of the fancy fitting company has them to. Oh there is a small plastic carb to base on air cleaner spacer you can get to I think there is two sizes they come in 1\8 -1\4" or the next size up been so long since I run that style carb did you trick it out yet ad rear jets, jet extention in the front, extention cut front float, need the long side tube if you put the jet plate in the back,.

Yea, those blasted fittings cost me like $80 from Earls. I had my stuff laying around for that fuel pressure gauge and it ended up being a big deal in the end to hook it all up.
I can't really put any more adaptors on there or anything, if I swivel it down it will actually interfere with the linkage. The trouble was trying to adapt that @#$@# fuel pressure line that goes back from the T.
I will find a spacer or something to figure it out.
Thanks Scott.
Oh, the carb is just a plane jane holley 600 stock right now. I will probably go through it and fix it up a bit once I get to the point where the truck is running and tunable again.

If you go to an auto parts store IE SCHUCKS , NAPA, AUTO ZONE they should sell a plastic spacer that fits on the neck of the carb... If not I think either Jegs or Summit sells them as well.. They are available all the way up to like 3"....
