is it easy to covert to a one wire alternator i can buy a kit to change it to one wire & is it better too.

They say it is pretty easy. Only if your looking and need the extra power form the newer one wire high out put Alt. other then that if your truck does not have a lot of power option and or a trailer being used most of the time I think it would be a little over kill. But it's up to you it's a little cleaner looking under the hood, but it depended on what your look for. Or your going for clean, more power stock high tech. You can get some higher out put stock Alt with A/c option they will put out higher #. I was thinking of doing it to my race car but Have not got that far yet. Now I believe that Mr gasket under Accel ALT on there site has a write up on it, if you look it up. www.accel-ignition.com/
