79, 350 4brl...when truck is warm and try to start....if it doesn't start on the first fire, then it just cranks until I hold the pedal to the floor until it starts burbing and spittin, then it will start. Rough at first, but will smooth out after I rev it up a couple times.
Do I need a carb kit? Sounds like could be running rich?
Help!

Sounds like the choke isn't set up properly. When it is doing this, check to see if the choke plate is closed. If so, you'll need to loosen the 3 fasteners and turn it to loosen the tension. When standing at the side of the carb, turn it clockwise towards the rad. Try about 1/8" at first and see how that goes.
