In a way it may have been a blessing (due to fuel prices) that 'Ol blue is no longer with me. I have not heard of anything from the new owner, but I am sure she is in good hands. I hope you all will allow me to post a couple picks of my new old truck here. Just to show that I got another ( less thirsty ) pick-'em-up truck. While it is a plain Jane, and I don't have a name for it yet, it IS a Bowtie product! ;D. I flew out to Fort Meyers, Florida to get this one. Some specs on it are; 100% totally rust free, has 80,000 miles on it now, 2003 S-10 Basic, with 4spd. overdrive auto trans, 3.42 rear end, 4.3 V6, MFI, Extended cab, very clean inside and out, it retains some original Fla. sand in various places . I averaged 27 miles to the gallon, on the way back. I have some ideas for this one, but nothing radical.

Thank for the heads up, Pontiac. The oil was changed on the 28th. when I picked it up, and I have put over 2,000 miles on it since then and the oil is still clean. Also all maintenence records were given to me by the original owner, it has A/C Delco heavy duty battery installed last Dec. ( 5 year ) battery. Is the 3.42 rear end for better mpg, it was originally came from factory with 4.108 sumpthin' ( 4.11 ?) But customer opted for 3.42.

Yes that combo should be nice, that big gear would have been good for towing. But the over drive and the 3.42 is a good all around gear save gas and can play. you welcome.
