I have been preaching for years about what not to do when you encounter " BLACK ICE ". Well this morning I took my own advice, but it was too late ,grooved, salted, plowed , concrete makes invisible ice also. I was getting off on freeway ramp and I saw car ahead of me fishtail ( i was going 25 mph downhill ) I took my foot off accelerator, but it was too late and I saw my Big Ten decal in my mirror ( the one that's on the bedside ) did 3 - 1/2 donuts and SMACKED the wall going about 45 mph with the left front of my baby's nose. I do have broadform collision, full coverage on her. Hopefully the ins. co. don't total her. The right side of cab did hit the bedside, But no fluid leakages of any kind, the core support is into the fan at the top. She is sitting in a well protected tow yard right now with 40 gallons of premium gas in it. I hope they don't steal it. I hope I can figure out how to link pics from photobucket to here.

It's spelled nutsy..lol. I am fighting for better totalout price. they offered 1500.00 before I sent them 35 detailed pre - wreck photo's and copies of my truck purchase receipts, dated June 26, 2007. They are not getting her that cheep! Getting ready to send them advertising for price of truck when it was new. It sold for 4,493.00 new in 1978 and that's not for the Big Ten. They use NADA book for value of vehicles, they are offering less than what a rusted out beater is worth in their book. The beater is worth......2,205.00 with A/C But I have tilt wheel, heavy duty cooling system, tow package, cruise control.....etc, etc.
