[glow=limegreen,2,300]I am going to make a tube flatbed for my truck... I need to know if the tanks will need to be removed from my truck in order to remove the bed from it.(By the way.. It has dual tanks.) I am hoping to also cut some of the frame off behind the rear spring hanger to improve departure angle. What tools would you guys recommend to remove the excess frame? [/glow]

The tanks are mounted to the frame, you'll need to unbolt the filler neck from the box side though.
I would use a sawzall with a metal blade to remove that pesky extra frame section, because that's just what I have handy for the purpose.

just in-case do not forget to unplug your rear wiring before lifting it just in case you do & grounds the box and cab to frame.

[glow=limegreen,2,300]I just got finished removing all of the bed bolts(six?) and the tail lights and pulled the wiring down onto the frame. I also removed the breather from the bed for the 14blt and unscrewed the fuel filler necks....... Am I missing anything?[/glow]

The bed should have 8 bolts in it unless you had 2 missing already. Other than that shoulds like your ready to pull it. Good luck with making your new bed.
