Hey Guys quick question
I have a rear sliding window, I want to take it out. I have a guy that wants to sell me a solid rear out of a late 70's chevy.
Are they the same? will it fit in my 1985? Any one know what they are worth new? (the guy said that the glass is a little thicker than they put in the 85's I have know idea. Thanks for the Help.

It should fit if it's out of a 73-87 but you will need the rubber too that came with it. Even if you want to put a new one just so you can order a the right one. I forget how or what little small changes they did but will not stop you from putting it in on the 81-87 " but the key is to get the right rubber for the window you get. A little water or soapy water on new rubber in a few spots helps to in- stall some times easier. Gee I tossed a mint 1975 window out rubber and all about two years ago. I would have let go cheap lol oh well that funny most people want the slider,I love them of course. I have no A/c in my truck because I like the cleaner motor bay.
