Hey guys
Merry Christmas, So I was at a parts swap and found a nice set of bucket seats of of an Acura for $10. I thought how could I go wrong, right. So now I have no idea how to start to mount these things. Is there some kinda bracket set you can buy, or just make them? The brackets on the seats may have to be cut off I'm not sure. Maybe some pictures of someone that has them mounted already that would be huge. Cause the floor isn't flat( as you may know) Any help or advice would be great>>MAT

Give me a few days and I will try to take some snap shots of the mounts on my seats where they bolt to the floor. I mounted seats from a Mazda 929, not sure what year, in my 86. I don't think I used any of the stock holes either, I drilled new holes thru the floor board and bolted them down. It's almost impossible to make buckets bolt up in the 2 outside factory holes unless they came out of a blazer and you still have to drill the 2 bolt holes on the inside for each seat. I used the mounts on the buckets with some modifications, I started out setting the seat in the truck on the floor board to see how it sits and what it would take to make them hit the floor. Some I had to cut and make longer, some I had to shorten. If you know how and have the tools, welding is the easiest way to perform this. I will make some pics as soon as the holidays are over. Sorry its just very busy for me right now.
