OK, I lately posted saying I had a battery problem...well I had a bad new battery so I replaced it with a good one. Now, when I turn the key, either it clicks once or it does nothing. When I tried to manually jump the solenoid, the starter just spins. I would suspect the starter, but it seems the solenoid doesn't even try to turn the starter. What gives???

If the starter motor just spins, and doesn't crank the engine over, you are jumping the two large terminals to each other. This will run the starter motor, but won't engage the bendix to the flexplate.
You need to jump from the TOP large terminal to the small terminal labeled "S". Your starter may or may not have another small terminal labeled "R", but there should not be anything attatched to it. Just jump from the large top terminal to the small terminal that has a wire on it (probably purple in color)
If when you jump the large and the small terminals, you only hear a click, I suspect the solenoid has failed.
