Well, I finally found a solution to my gas gauge not working. After much much trial and error, it was determined the sender was fine and gauge was bad. Bought an 18 dollar gauge from Checker that uses the 0-90 scale, and cut the center of the old gauge out, slid mine into its place, and hey, now I know I have gas, it's not just a theory. It looks totally redneck, but for the tools I have, it came out nice. In the process, I even got my brake light working again. Imagine that.. :hbanging:

Hey, good to hear! Now if you can just get that frame tied back together properly, you'll be in business.....j/k.

Yeah, about that: all the noise went away for quite some time until the rain heavily returned yesterday. It only does make clunking when it gets wet or under extremely extreme driving. Is this a dead give away that something like the ball joints are going?

Did you try checking the front end like I posted before? :shrug:This will tell you if it's the ball joints. Glad you got the fuel gauge working.
