Well, it did finally rain, or more like pour. I was relieved that my wiper blades seemed in good condition on the truck as I hadnt used them yet. I got about 1.5 miles out of them when they stopped vertically. I tried switching the switch back and forth so many times, and nothing happened. Finally I gave up. It was raining harder and harder, and I have to go on a bit of a drive into the desert later tonight to do a service call, so I went ahead and drove back and retrieved my Toyota. So ... where should I begin looking first? I know that a lot of the circuit boards on newer Chevys and GM trucks went bad non stop, and we were actually able to resolder the boards on these. Do the 87s have this same problem? Am I at least looking in the right direction?

Well, when I got home, I turned the key on and they immediately shot back into park position. Im still thinkin it's either a bad board, OR water getting into the plugs on the motor since they look poorly designed. Looks like more than enough water could of and has been in there. Just an update. Still have no sure idea what it is. Too tired to look at anything right now. Just kidding .. still got 2.5 years til I can legally enjoy a beer.. :askick:
