Wow! 2000 bux! What is your plan? I was estimating closer to just 1000 for mine... New upholstery for bench seat New door panels (and some door trim that needs replacing) New dash pad New carpet New headliner... OH, canadian dollars... that's about right then

Hello there bullet . a brake down of the dashes changes 1973-78 Chev GMC Dash Pad 1979-80 Chev GMC Dash Pad with V.I.N. cut out; 1981-91 Chev GMC Dash Pad Now 73-78 Vin on the post should not be used on the 1979 to 91 trim will be different maybe needing custom fit ( @ doors) and you will have the cut opening where the Vin plate is . Most places have or can get the 79 and up styles due to the VIN plates. But only a few places will get the 73-78 style . The 79-80 will fit the 73-78 but have the Vin hole cut out. The dash in the 73-80 are more rounded on passenger side. The 79-91 are more flatter on passenger side. and the dash insert 73-80 do not fit the 81-87

I haven't totaled my interior (scared to) but my interior is totally stripped. gauge bezel $300/dash $280/new guages (stock) from eBay (great shape all tabs intact) $50/used seat with cover $50/dynamat $300/carpet $300 and that's just what I've got so far. Still gotta get door panels, a/c vents, fuel selector switch etc etc. Tell me the secret to the $1000 dollar interior
