Hi, hows everything in Chevy land, got a question here, wasnt sure which area to ask. I have a pickup with a rear step bumper, just purchased a new one with no step, no strip holes....the brackets are no good from the other one are no good, I knew that from the beginning, can I still attach the new bumper brackets(which I dont have yet) to the frame in the same holes or ones that are already there. If anyone knows please help, my wife would kill me if I bought this bumper and it don work.....lol

For me it's better what I use it for & I do not have to worry about ppl hitting the box or putting dents in it.

I just changed out my rear bumper with a replacement step bumper. The mounts are definitely different. While mine even had a step on it already, I was told by many that the original was entirely different and the mounts just don't line up.
Can you take me some photos of your mounts and what you think you need? I still have my old bumper laying on my driveway with the old brackets. If they are anywhere near close you might be able to mod them up and fix your problem. Take me some pics first, and then I can take some photos of what I have.
I would give the stuff to you free. Just pay for shipping and we could get you fixed up if you think my mounts might help you.
