I was looking for a truck seat that leans forward so you can access the area behind it, the one on my truck is just solid. Did they come any other way?

73-80 bench seats are like that do not flip over. 81-87 bench seat do flip over . Not Sure on this I have Not Done it some friends did Now there are some ppl that just pop the pins (bolts)out of the seats at the bend, put a none fully treaded bolt in the driver side so it will flop over, if you pull on it or you park on a hill and your not seating in the seat it flips over . Now I think that the Sloppy way but if you do not want spend the money on the seat .I guess a few have done it " that what they told me how they did it. Now it been awhile and I might have forgot something but that close.

In regards to the 73-87 Fullsize trucks....
My base '77 had the solid seat.
Here's how I made it a folding seat.
- Remove the LOWER bolt in the seat back bracket. - Put High-Temp/High-Strength threadlocker (Permatex Loctite #272 is good) on the threads and thread is back in until just gets snug. - Remove the UPPER bolt from the seat back bracket, and install it into your glovebox in case you want to put it back in one day.
- Repeat on opposite side.
My '86 has the stock folding seat, and has no latch to keep it in the upright position. It moves exactly like my '77 did after the modification.
If you are talking about your Luv, you'll have to have a look at it to see if it is designed the same way as the Fullsize trucks.

No, the LUV I had to sell a while back, it's for the c10. Thanks for the idea though, I'll try it out.
