can some one please help me in finding out what you need to throw away the original guages and place some autometer guages in, but still use the original chrome bezel to have a custom racing look still trying to keep it stock

I have seen 2 ways of doing this on the net. One way the guy wired the gauges to the back of the bazel which did look alright, but I prefer the other way. You just cut the holes out bigger to fit the gauges in and mount them like normal. I been wanting to do this to mine but the gauges I want will cost close to $500 for all of them.

i have autometers in my truck, i took out the origional gauge cluster and all you have to do is on the back of your plastic gauge face is flatten out the plastic, because when you look at it they angle down. And dont make the mistake i made, get a 5" tach and speedo, because 3 3/8 DO NOT fit. that pissed me off. But it cost me around 500 -550 for 6 autometer pro-comp gauges.
