My truck is a 80 with door panels from a 84 silverado they are covered in a dark blue vinyl with a chevy bowtied where the carpet insert was, and diamond plate trim pice was, the dash is a 84 with a plastic cap, and it has after market qauges, I just need to get the speedo and tack, there are in a stock benzel from a 78 and dimond plate trim, I used dimond plate because its cheap and the piece was like 4x4 sheet and it was only $30 a swap meet. and it a blue bucket seat with the center consol and they were only $280. and also put to 10inch subs and after market stereo

I put some buckets from a sunfire in my 84 c-10. I used two sets of brackets from stock bench seats, one set for each seat. I welded on an extension for the front inner leg on each seat. To get the seats to sit at the right height and angle I welded a piece of 1.5 in square tube to the rear of the tracks and a piece of 2 x4 tube to the front. I unbolted the seats from the stock tracks and bolted them to my newly created brackets. I'm not sure I like these seats that well, I've got a set of escort seats in my junkie #$@@ ranger, that I like, so they might move into my Chevy.

On the subject of seat mounting: when I put in my bucket seats and tracks I had to drill holes for bolts for the brackets. So that I dont have to crawl under the truck to remove or install the seats in the future, I spot welded the nuts to large fender washer, which I spot welded the the underside of the floorpan. Now if I want to take the seats out, I can remove the bolts from inside the truck.

I bet any seats can go in any truck for the most part, it just is a matter of figuring out how you can make them work. I may scour the junkyards for a set of old vette seats or something cool like that. I remember that the fiero had some sweet seats in them. Allow me to go do some homework.

I've got buckets out of a F*ord Probe. Super comfy. Drove 2400miles in them last month and felt great! Not a bad modification. Power lumbar too!
