:)hello truck fanatics, when i bought my 1980 gmc sierra grande it did not have the front sway bar, i am the third owner, maybe there was one on the truck once, anyway, i have found one, and i have mounted it but just to be sure, i want to know if i mounted it correctly 'cause i have no other truck to compare here. there should be one sway bar, 4 brackets, 4 rubbers; and two extra brackets that go under the chassis in front.(and nuts and bolts ,..) -sway bar mounted under chassis with brackets -sway bar on te side mounted under the chassis and on the lower arm -behind the rod and in front of the coil spring if you look closely you can see a piece of the rubber that holds the sway bar and the ending of the sway bar, it just hangs out, is that normal? so, if i have mounted the sway bar correctly, only the four bracets are holdin' it in place.. thank you for reading this , some info would be welcome. have a nice day.
