doe's anyone if a stock 1990 tune port injection (l98} engine will hold a supercharger?

I don't know what the compression ratio is on this engine, but if its 9.0:1 or lower it will be fine with 9 psi or lower boost, more compression than that will require lower boost pressures. Don't hold my word to this I am just going off what i know about blowing and compression ratios. There are other things that will come into factor, like heads material, alum can take a little more than iron. You will also have to increase the fuel supply for blown applications.

I know lots of guys who've run Vortechs on the L98 motors in Camaros. They make a kit for them even.
Kinda one of those things that the harder you wail on it the shorter it will last though! I think those kits are fairly conservative though.
