hi, i was wondering, a 1987 model condenser, will that fit on a 1973-1980 model radiator support?

Well for the the rad from a 73-80, does not fit easy in the 81-87 rad support. The Rad's in the 73-80 are taller. The 81-87 Rad's are wider and shorter. So the A/c condenser will look some what like the year rad it was made to go with. A better fit for the condenser would be one of the same year rad support your using. The only thing you might have to watch for will be the hoses( lines) so a better year would be 1980 one check to see if they came metric fitting 1980 was a switch over year the 87 will have metric for sure. If you have one to see how close there are. The 1980 will fit the rad support, if you have the one them you will have to do try to get the line fit both side if there are different.
Now any one that has changed the A/c to the new style compressor would know if the lines are the same(the small 84-87 compressor). I say 84-87 I for get what year for sure they went to the small style.
