>:(I am in the process of putting Autometer guages in my truck, and having problems with the signal indicators...they flash once or twice, then stop. The 4-ways work fine. I cut the factory cluster off and going to use some of the wires, and wired up the sig.to the 2 blue wires and grounded the other wires from the bulbs, and now the signals don't stay on.Both flasher units are brand new (electronic)because of the LED taillights. anyone know how to eliminate the indicators and just have the outside signals work...or to solve my problem??

Do you have a wireing digram. it might help you under stand how the flasher single work. I not total sure what your using of the wiring and what your using from the new . most likely a bad groung or crossed wiring some where.

I have a book with a wiring diagram, but the colors don't match the # on the side of the factory plug and there is a post on this website about installing guages...but those colors and numbers don't match up which is not important as long as I go by color.I am just going to use the factory grey,lt.blue.dk.blue,lt.green,I will change the bulbs and change the wiring around with the signals,HOPEFULLY I can fix it! Thanks.

I solved the problem I was having...the ALTERNATOR was not charging the batt.Got it rebuilt and converted to ONE wire, eliminated the 2 wire plug on top no need for the brown wire anymore because of Autometer guages.the volt guage is hooked up to the fuse box now.everything works good, thank you people for your help!
