Truck has come off the trailer, and momma is tolerant. 1st to go is the red cap. Next day, I relaced the two tone doors with the original blue doors that were in the bed. Got a set of stock 16.5 wheels\tires to replace the 12.5 33's (they are shot). Then got the stock hubcaps to complete the tall skinny stock look. Next went the bed,totally shot from 29yrs of northern il plowing/life. Off to the crusher for it!! I've got a line on a bed off of an 84 for 250.00. So now I've got the rear frame exposed and have wire wheeled it. I'll need shocks and all new brake components , 2 new tanks/straps/lines. I'll be busy. Attachments:

Kurt, I looked at your pic's,just wanted to pass along some kudos! Great job man! Hope i'll be able to achieve similar results!! Thanks for motivating me and giving my wife some "in progress" pics! She isn't familiar with what it takes to get something looking good! Now she understands a little better, thanks!

thanks for the kind words, glad to help out, i think it's a great hobby!it gives you a great feeling to solve a piece of this gigantic puzzle everyday! truck on! ps: get your wife involved into the restoration project also, who knows she might get bitten by the bug too! have a good one!
