hey y'all, i have a question about AC for people who drive the 73-80 model, follow me (others may too but i'm not sure it's the same setup) here goes. look at your windshield while standing in front of the car, look at the passengers side, go down untill you reach that gutter under the windshield, the hood has to be open! in that gutter you have the arms that move the windshield blades. i have heard that in that gutter if you have A/C there should be a vacuum pump with bracket. i must say that there are three holes drilled in that gutter but theres no vacuum pump in it (because i didn't have the A/C setup first.) so, can anybody tell me if that is true and with a picture if possible! thanks guys and girls!!

The plenum valve goes under the cowl and controls a door in the heater box. It has a vacum line and a piece of linkage. Metz. Rockvale Tn. My 79 has a 85 ac compressor, thr r4.
