Hello and thanks for the great site! What a fabulous idea! So our truck will not keep charged. We have unplugged all accessories from the battery (which is brand new) and its cables redone, replaced the alternator and its wires, replaced the distributor, the ignition swiitch, the starter, checked the main ground......feels like we have done everything that could be done. At first, the truck would hold charge as long as it was fired up every second day or w/e. Now it won't even hold enough charge to stay idling in the parking lot! Really just had enough...ready to sell the beast! Please, any tips you can give would be so deeply appreciated.
Thanks, Crystal

The only thing I can think of right now since you say you did all the basic stuff. On the fire wall there is a plastic part that has two screw one north and south, with bolts studs should be two or three red wires on it With two nuts ( called a Engine wiring Junction block ). Be careful when un-doing them lube them with some kind of rust lube let sit on them, work them on off till come off . Check the wires from there to the starter and alt. to the fuse box for good connection clean them if it bad looking. you might need to check the fuse able link form the starter to there.. Now the only other thing is to make sure your motor ground to body is good & body to frame is good. Grounds do you know where there all are.? Can you make me a list of all the one's you checked or replaced. AS marked with a green arrow
