Well they do sell patch panels, for verses part of the cap area there, from LMC. Classic auto parts to name a few. I would try to get a book and see what part or how much of the part panels you need. Then get a some one that knows how to help you or a body shop, or cut out the rust re-weld in new steel..

I have the same problem. It looks like its where two different body panels meet together just under the bottom corner of the door.
anyone done any of the patches?

it looks like yall are going to have to replace it with some sheet metal because they dont sell patches for that area or go to a junk yard and look and see if you can find a truck that has that area that is good and cut it out

LMC dont have anything, just the inner carom lashing with the chevy symbol. im about to go downtown and ask the guy thats about to die about it. he has to be 135, and drives a big ol rusty plow around town when it snows, but he probably can weld somthn mean.
