so, the truck made the trip to the garage of my friend bart. here the truck will get prepared to go to the paintshop, there will be sanding going on and the applience of the primer coat. there are also some holes that need to be taken care of, new fuell lines, make the truck running etc.. a lot of small things still to do. here you'll see the truck with the truckbed removed, we'll start on the bed first.i have to say that the small side of the bed (next to the cab) is in excellent condition!the cab backside is good except for a 4 square inch rust spot, not rusted through though, luckely!! enjoy

i'll do the sanding and the bodywork and my friend takes care of the engine, gets it in primo condition.we want it to run and prep the bodywork so that another guy only has to paint the final coat . that guy has a paintshop, we don't.. the painting should happen next week.

you bet! now the truck is in my friend bart's garage , this is what has been done allready, the truck is able to start by way of turning the ignition switch , but there is a problem somewhere because the engine doesnt turn round very well, hmm, starter is taken off, checked , needs to be mounted on again, holes with rust have been cut out and redone, allmost, ... , the truckbed has been sanded and prepped for the final coat, engine gets gas, new brake master cilinder, new gastubings, ... still to do:cab, doors, fenders, hood need sanding for the final coat, electricity needs to be hooked up, engine needs to run smoothly.. enjoy the pics new master cilinder: bed sanded: taping of with masking tape: in this picture, my friend Bart applied a special layer against up jumping stones and other road attack : the master at work applying a coat of carbo mastic, future rust is gone forever cutting and welding, all the rust has to go
