What the difference's are there from a 77 1/2 ton and a79 3/4 ton Frame . Any one got any pic of a 3/4 frame long bed. Try to put two trucks to getter with a lot of spare parts, trying to see what will work what I have to buy or get. any help or little info on this is appreciated

;D heading out today to pick up another 73-80 1/2 ton to get the frame . so hope this will take care of the frame I was looking for.

Hey pontiac, My truck is a 77 3/4 ton. And i have pics of the rear of the frame in the shackle flip section if that helps at all.

75 1\2 ton Frame : good12 bolt Diff : good windshield : good.................xxxx that off the list now. two drip rails: good Right door glass: good Right vent glass: goodrear window stander glass: good ....... toss it out hope no one looking for one . Gear box: goodfront supion: good Right side outer door handle: goodfender tags: good

Well taking out the windshield it's coming good ,till the slipped a little then went throw the door sill area to the ground . As I fall throw with the screw driver in my hand I did not let go of the screw driver angle changed pushed up it cracked the mint tinted w/antenna in the glass. So the truck is apart just have to left the cab and what left of the box.

They must have put a 3/4 spring pack in that truck, that is a lot of leafs in the rear. But it does look like fun. Great pics too thanks.

That a heavy 1\2 Ton in the the day . They would put the rear suspension set up of a suburban on the 1\2 Ton and it would be like a 3\4 Ton in the rear. think it was option pack F44 if I rember right .

Ya, they had a couple names. "Heavy Half" was one, "Big 10" was another. Great trucks. That little extra capacity made it ride harder (it's a truck, who cares?), but really helped for getting that little extra load in there.
