**Engine Harness ( bulk head ) what you need or can use to help you get the stuff apart make it look factory.
Now some of these clips can be got at GM dealer most for the after market for GM replacement. Now the plastic end plugs from GM or a few auto store or junk yard . Almost anything on the wiring end & wiring comes apart with a bit of work
Oh I had used this pic for some one eles some of wording on this has nothing to do with this THE ONE ABOVE ( showing the clips)

Yes auto parts store one of your better one's ( down in the states like pet boys auto zone NAPA. others too just can't think of them. The terminal come in 10 packs, about $6.-$15 bucks. The kit had the 5 or 6 of the type I needed + I got 6 different 10packs up here the total of the extra packs & kit around $150.00 to start me off. It was cheaper to get the kit only buy a few extra types. Keystone has some of these to, GM to but GM sold most of the stuff to EZ-wire & Painless and other like that so some you have to get at a junk yard that are good.

Wow great find looking to repair or rebuild my entire 86 GMC jimmy harness. Are you building a brand new harness? Do you have Napa Canada part number for the kit? Also part numbers for the terminal refills I can almost see them in your picture! Or maybe if your so kind another picture of the lid, that shows the part numbers? Are the tools worth while that come in the kit? How many terminals did it come with? Are you replacing the wire as well? If so do you know a good source for quality automotive txl wire? In original colors? Thanks a lot for your time..nice find on the kit

Hi 04colyzq8
Company name Grote.com or Company name Standard.com Yes I did the rear tail light harness from box just behind the cab to the tail lights all new wire reused the rubber GM plug end's new terminal clips. The tail lights were not to bad for color so the bulk spools of wire I bought from princes auto in Canada worked fine . It is hard to come buy the some of the colors that GM used as most wiring company's got the right to them you will have to ask a few of them if they sell them to you. After I had bad luck with that or they wanted to much $ . This is what I did GM used blk, red, blu, brown, green, yellow, WHITE the white can be dyed to the pink,Light green, light blue now I think that all the colors off the top of my head. As I can only tell you the main places I used in my Area 50' or 100' rolls of wire when I need some and it on sale @ princes auto I buy it then two or three time a year they sell it cheaper then there reg. price.. Now most of GM wiring is 14ga , some 16ga the light duty stuff, red is mostly 12ga alt, starter. Now there is two or three kits you can get that might work for the GM's as I try to keep the most 73-80 but need most of the 81-90 because I have a 77 with a 84 fuse box in it. Now the pliers in the kit can be bought out side the kit they are a ++. Now the blade driver handles can be bought out side the kit to, there OK but I had terminal tools on the right side of the pic. So for me it was like a bonus to get them. So I have a few wiring harness bought trucks or picked of trucks I had. For extra wire clips that you can't get what you do is open them up as best you can to get the wire out most time you will have to solder the clip on the wire but you have to be easy on the solder, enough to make it hold but not lit, you put it back in the water tight connectors. Do not forget to put them on first move well past the heat soak. Then slip it back rein stall rubber gasket seal connectors pop the clips in the plug end's then they are ready for hook up. It's best that you look them up and see the kits read see what in the kit find out what you need and what one you can save your 86 has a few more water tight connectors then 84 most likely. I can get the #'s if you still need them. It helps to know where you live and what type store's you have. Trailers auto parts Places you might be able to get better deals on wire or harbor freight tools, in the USA. Plus it depends on what your truck has for option and what option your adding if any. My set up with out AC so that give me some extra power connection (other option). My next wiring will be the head light harness, then the motor wiring next then the last will be the cab. I hope this helps. I think I answered all you question. You can prv message me or write back on this message page
here is the topic on the rear wiring harness Topic: ** Bulk head to find your lights front or rear" this should come up in a search as of now it on page 3 of electrical section
