I was thinking of installing a Corvette Air Cleaner Assembly with the Dual Snorkel design on my truck. I was going to get one from a 75 or later Vette that had an HEI and Carburetor.
I just wanted to improve efficiency and keep the stock look. Does anyone out there think this would not fit or work???

It should work no problem. Even if there is a small fitment issue, the base of the air cleaner would be easily modified with a hammer.

I was just looking at the engine in my truck and the only thing I am worried about is the second snorkel clearing the A/C hose that goes across the front of the engine off the back side of the compressor.

A slight tweaking of an aluminum line should be OK, just don't go reefing on it and snap the thing clean off.

After much though I have decided to go with a classic style 14" air cleaner and a set of factory looking chrome valve covers.

The cool thing is, those valve covers are $24.00 on ebay.
