Hi, I was wondering about the tear down of the front suspension, the worst thing is I already removed the whole front suspension in one piece, now im not sure if I can remove the springs.... how much pressure is there, can I lossen off the upper and lower ball joints to remove tension from the spring.... Also is there a spring compressor small enough to fit in there now......any tips or pics would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Let say if the spring pop out it will take your head off it it hit you there. I have not did it that way yet but you should be able to rent a tool from one of the auto zone or some thing like that. Or buy one from harbor freight. To take them out. Good Luck

I got the front end disassembled now, I let go the shackle holding the lower conrol arm on a little at a time, once the nuts were off I put a 3/8 drive extension on it and gave it a crack, the spring let go with a bit of tension but I had it set up so it was going to pop down and not up, didnt think it would lift everything attached, good thing it did't, next time I have to replace a spring or something Ill do it while its attached to the truck....lol, now everything is going to a sandblasting shop to be done and epoxy primered, all of it for 475, chassis and all, cant beat that
Thanks for the reply
