I was wondering. I want to lower my truck. I was thinking 3front and 4rear. I don't want to c notch the rear. Does any one have that same lowering measurments?
Does anyone recommend coils or spindles? Do coils change your camber?

I just had a second question.(if anyone replies) I plan on lowering 4 inch in the front and 5 inchs in the rear. Can I still use my stock 15x8 rallies? I will some day go to after market wheels but it's not in the buget right now.I plan on doing this in a 2 months (soon) so any help would be great. GOD SPEED>>MAT

you will want to do both coils and spindles. it may change you camber but you should have it realigned anyway when you done and your 15 x 8's should still fit.

Hey everyone just wanted to to share some information . I installed a 3 inch drop spindle in the front and a shackle and hanger kit in the rear for a total or 4 inchs in the rear. To start front is basic install with 0 mods except the brake line need bent alittle. The stock 15x8 wheels do fit, with out rubbing. Now the back was a a @itch. The hanger had rivets. So you have to cut them off to get your hanger off the frame. The shackle is ajustable 3-4 inchs but is way longer than stock. A box suport rail has to be trimmed so the shackle may clear once the truck is sitting on the ground. Its a big job but if you know what your getting into it may not be so bad. One more thing I ordered my Parts from a Canadian dealer and they are way cheaper than any other place I have found check them out. www.canuckmotorsports.com/index.html

Now that I have some concept of lowering vehicles. I have a question for some of you seasoned guys. As i said above I now have 3 inch drop spindles and 1.6 inch drop coils on the front. I need a couple inches lower for the perfect look. I'm trying to rack my brain as to the best way of doing this 1. Cutting the drop coils 2. Buying 3 inch drop coils. In doing this am I going to run into any problems. That would be a total of 6 inches in the front. I'm thinking of just buying the 3 inch coils cause they're not expensive I just don't want any surprise problems.
DJM also offer lower lowering control arms that have a 3 inch drop. 1. They are expensive 2. Then I am left buying a new stanard height coil on top of this. PLEASE HELP!

My advice would be try cutting the coils first, this will not cost you anything and if it don't turn out right then buy the lower drop coils you mentioned. I would start by cutting a single coil at a time and checking the difference. Remember you can always cut more but you can't put it back.

i cut about 1 coil off mine and it sometimes bottoms out and it real bouncy but I have stock shocks , so later on I'm going to add 3 inch coils kinda want to get spindles to and the back I already took out a couple of leafs and added a 2 or 3 nch drop shakel
