Yes the rad support (LOWER) is made for all option factory rad set up, But the upper center plate and shroud are motor and fan specific.
Factory rad copper. Ok was your rad a copper rad was it taller then the one in the pic. Because if it was then your shroud may be to low now with the new rad.(copper rad you look in the fill area to see how mean tube wide and if the tube had holes in them, tube working have holes in the tubes. To see the core count it was really) (>if you had two count but the second tub did not have hole in then it was a signal core.<) The old copper rad single core dual core three core for a/c heavy hauling, so the three core meaning three tube side by side about 1/4" wide and about 5/16" space between them. The new rad like in the pic cool a little better and they do not make the tube the same as the copper rad. The ALUM tub little bit bigger not as mean. they use the flow help make up the cooling and the Alum sucking heat out faster
Now 73-80 rad for the most part are taller but not as long. Now 81-87 rad for most part are longer but not tall. Now GM made so mean option 73-87 rad makes get the factory specific to set up factory (your)truck but over the year because 73-80 and 81-87 not the same there been some mix up over because GM used 73-80 Rad support and rad in the 1ton truck in 81 t0 87 run and the same for the 81-87 in 88 to 91 the years more after 1995 So the rad info has been confusing rad makers was not right no re write info sheet was not now new maker trying use old list with note missing got mess 1973-1991 rad makers.
So I would test fit your rad with the shroud upper mount to see if it in the the same place. (( or measure the Rad's at the mounts bottom to top for Hight, and center to center of the mounts for Length,)) So I hope this help you and others
