I have a 79 GMC. I has been a job in works for 9 + yrs! Finally got all the time I need to start( got ran over by a semi, now I'm one handed) on the body and the Interior. So I gutted it in the cab and putting some new and some old parts in.. But I found some rust under the carpet, just where your feet are on both sides.. Not bad but needs fixed and treated, ideas? Then I got some nice bucket seats. But not a big fan of the blazer, center console.. What about a jump seat/center console?? Got most of the running gear/power train done...

you can try some of the rust stripper or converters if its not to bad . but the best way is to cut out the rust patch in the hole (weld). eastwood.com has a few things. good luck
