I have an old '83 Chevy Silverado Farm Truck with these gynormious mirriors. There in mostly good shape. The span on the legs are like covering most of the door. I noticed it while looking for OE style photos of the paint jobs for when i go to do mine. Does anyone have pics of what our chevys looked like new?
I was wondering if my truck has always been grey with black lower quarters, and red interior, and the huge mirrors. (I've hit things with them - parking meters and posts mostly- and they look at me like, doh!)
I thinking I'm going to go with red interior like origional, but then repaint it orange like my grandpas scottsdale was and white lower quarters, with white rims with a red pin strip. Or black rims. Ya, that sound like mine.
But first, the ball joints.

Well look at the doors and the fenders @ the line bewteen the two, at the front to see if the color is different if it was changed it should show there & another place is the cab coners and the box you should see it in those places. Maybe show some pic's of your truck.
