The dash is made up from a billet panel I got through Classic Chevy Truck, and the rest are Autometer gauges, the Tach came from a Nascar team, it was not designed to be dash mounted but I liked the style better than the 5 in in-dash model. Works great! The remaining gauges will be an air/fuel ratio and a Boost gauge. They will go in the upper right corner. The 89-91 clip conversion consists of an 82 donor truck for the sheet metal, and a new 89-91 Suburban core support from LMC truck. Here is an article they goes over it pretty well. coloradok5.com/grilleswap.shtml

Got my Dana 60 back from the shop, all the hard work is done but I still have more to do. I have to mount the calipers and dust shields, as well as brake lines and spring perches, and shock mounts.

Hey everyone, Sorry I haven't been on the boards for awhile, my wife headed off to Iraq for a few months and doing the single dad thing keeps me busy. To reply to your questions, the dash is a combination of pieces. The aluminum panel is from LMC Truck, www.lmctruck.com/features/cc/CCBIC.htmand all the gauges are of course Autometer. The Tach is not one designed to panel mount, it came from a pedestal mount race car but I am making a clamp affair to hold it in.. (Really the fit is so snug that a bit of silicone would do. I first made it with 2 1/6 gauges, but changed to the 2 5/8 and like the look much better. I googled for an article on doing a dash conversion, and found a few of them. if I can find it, it will post a link here. As for the front end 89-91 conversion, again I used this article as a guide coloradok5.com/grilleswap.shtmlI looked in the local craigslist for my area and found the entire front for $100.00 which included virtually everything. Since my last post, I purchased a new project as well, its a 1977 2wd K5 Blazer. Been looking for one of these for a long time. Its all there and in pretty decent condition. I am trying to get the truck put together soon, so I can start on it.. Pictures of it coming Drew
