hey y'all, e few new pics to show my progress. first of all the rear bumper: for the longest time i wanted to buy a new chromed rear step up bumper with backup lights .originally i had the black step up bumper without lights.now that the time is right to get busy with the bumpers i decided to keep the black one and mount it on again, why? mainly because i think its a shame having to part from it since it is still in really good shape, so i mounted it on again, sanded and cleaned it,bought new licenseplate lighting and getn everything ready for paint, by this time the car is all covered again, to prevent paint dust on my freshly new painted truck ,i will paint the rear bumper in black again, it will match very well with all the rest. so, the front bumper will be chrome and the rear one black, i guess a chrome rear one would be the best but i can change that later if i want to anyways.so , here you see my ole blacky getn prepped up for a new life i also want to show you the mudflaps i mounted on.a bit of explanation: the truck did not have mudflaps, i bought those mudflaps years ago, they have been sitting in my closet , waiting for this day i had to think where to mount them and how, since all i had were the flaps. i went to a store called "brico" it's just like "home depot" in the usa. i bought two metal table legs , they are rectangular and at the end a square metal plate with four holes in to mount on the bottomside of the table. so, i held the table leg in place on my chassis, drew where the bolts had to come and started drilling. the flaps i mounted on the tablelegs, drawing and drilling it all out to be exact in place , i also had to cut of the table leg to get the correct length.so, after three hours of fiddling and cursing ;)i have my mudflaps ! the last picture is a sneak peak at my new front bumper with lights and in chrome! i supported the american economy again ;-)

hey mark, first of all, i think its great that you are intrested in the truck, i hope to help people out with the pics. i am anchious to continue the work on my truck, but just like in the usa we have a very hard winter, the truck is in the garage but i don't have the courage to work on it in that dag nabbited cold. march is on its way, i'm visiting the states half march, till early april, when i'm back, i will restart . things to come: electric wiring installment in cab, front and back bumpers, side steps. finishing the cab interior and getn that windshield in, i have it here but its too cold to mount it on now. hood fittin, and i would love to have a rollbar too with off road lights. estimated finishing time: summer 2010 (i hope, lol!). i'm moving early 2011 to bama, takin it with me. keep checkin the webpage, who knows , winter might end early...( i hope, lol!)
