I was wanting to know if there is someone out there that makes a bumper with the lights in it for the 87 pickups. I know that LMC makes them for the 73-80. Can I use that one for my 87 if I change the bumper mounts

To start with here a pic of the two bumpers that lmc makes with lights in it. www.lmctruck.com/assets/seExclusiveTop3.jpg[/img] or this if that did work www.lmctruck.com/se-grilles.htm?cid=LMC-TRthe left is 1973-1980. The right is 1981-1987 made on the 1981-82 style with the marker in the bumper. Now if you use the 81-82 factory bumper on a 83-87 you will have holes you can put fog light in there or off road style light. Because the 83 -87 have the marker lights in the grill or headlight area. Now for the 81-87 frame not a easy direct bolt on try to put the older 1973-1980 bumper you might have to drill a few holes.fit nice tight in the right spaces but yes but it a lot harder to put a 1981-1987 bumper on a 1973-1980 frame. you can do anything if you do enough work and time.! but as direct bolt on you can do that will not look factory correct.

Now the the 1973-1980 bumper will also stick out a little more on the sides because the bumper end's do not bend as sharp as the 1981-1987 bumper that why I put a van bumper on with the newer style 84 front clip But it's very close so you have to make one bracket up if you try to use some holes that are there I for get now for sure because the bumper not on in over a year now. I was going to cut all hole work them as needed and re weld all the holes that do not need to be there and get it re-chromed once I have it fit the way I want it to. Oh yes you wood need the old style brackets for the 1973 1980 bumper you might have to a bit more space in front of the grill or less depending on the bolt up . For some reason I think if you use the 1973-1980 bummer on the 81-87 frame I think there is less space at the grill but the bumper sits higher. The bumper mount a little different so there going to be mods to be done with holes a little . I guess you like the Lmc 75-80 bumper round lights better then the 81-87 chrome rectangle light in the bumper ( you could mod the light or a light of some kind to fit in the hole. Did you want to use the hole in the bumper to put running light or fog light maybe day time running light.

Does anybody know if the front and rear bumpers on a 80's model Chevy van will fit an '83 C-10?

It will not bolt up the frames are not the same. But you can make new holes weld up the others re fit the mounting brackets off the van. the paint the bumper or get it re-chromed. But it a very snug on the ends by the fenders.

I know LMC makes a bumper for the 81-87 that moved the parklights from the grille to the bumper like the earlier models. Might wanna check that out!
