i have a 1986 c10 305 with a 700r4,the transmission is acting up and im thinking about just switching it over to a th350, i was just wondering what all i need to do to make the switch including what parts i need to do it any help would be appreciated

Hi there. You will need to move your cross member forward to the next set of holes. You will need a small copper or steel tube to go from the Modulator to the VAC port at the back of the intake manifold and I think the tube and Vac-Port T is 5/16". You may need trans/ throttle mounting bracket for a 350/305 motor for the kick down bracket. Make sure the Th350 trans has the TQ convert, dip-stick if used trans. If new most time converter with the trans may have the dip-stick has to be one for TH350.
It easier to go to the TH350 for your 700R4

Oh you might need the down shift cable for the TH350.
