I currently have an Edelbrok carb that IMO is a POS! I've been thinking about going the TBI route. Anyone have any experience with the kits that are out there. Whats good, whats not? Worth the $$$?
The 350 in the truck is a crate engine I installed 2 year ago new.

I've done that, IF I go with something it'd most likely be a Howell system. I was looking for somebody with some experience with these types of kits... If they work as they should...

yes you can actually push out alot of power running tbi. even out here in cali you can run a smog legal setup putting out 450 hp. the problem with tbi systems is that alot of times a bottleneck affect will occur. you really got to make sure everypart is helping the other part out, but anything over 300 hp youll need a new fuel pump regulater and injecters to meet thier demand. and after all is said and done youll need to have a custom chip built if not tuned in by someone.
